And now the freaking trackbacks too.
MT-Blacklist works on trackback pings, and trackback spamming seems to only have become a noteworthy problem (at least here) with the recent publishing of the nofollow plugin for Movable Type.
Site has been upgraded to 2.661, and I flirted briefly with MT3, but I probably won't switch. Nofollow is installed.
MT-Blacklist has been working out quite well for keeping the spam load manageable, as much from the removal features as the blacklisting, since a blacklist is just wack-a-mole with domain names.
Trackback pings are now disabled on all posts to this blog.

Comments are now disabled on all old posts, and will not be enabled on any new posts, barring my actually posting something i think people might comment on.
