I have nothing to say, but I think missing the very first full day of trying to be a journal keeping writer-aspirant is probably not the greatest foot to put forward.
I've added a couple links to the bar on the left. It was looking a bit neglected before. I suppose a reasonably grand plan would be to develop a system for determining what should or should not be linked there. That project awaits a round tuit which is simply not available today.
