Took me a few days to decide that I wanted to write this.
Two years ago last thursday, about midmorning, the fire alarm went off. I had heard no news that day, since I normally get the news from the radio on the way in, and the first impact had not happened before I got to work. While I was outside waiting for the all-clear, someone told me that a plane had hit the WTC. My response was to check the date on my watch, and to say "Its not april first."
The rest of the day was just kind of a shocked blur, as I'm sure it was for many people. Most everyone was glued to the TV in the cafeteria, or to cnn.com. I dont clearly remember seeing a lot of either, but certainly enough to follow the rest of the events of that day.
