Well, first of all, in order to answer that question, we have to agree on the fact that a true democracy exists. Scholars have argues that a true democracy, or rule by the people, is a utopian political ideology, unattainable yet valuable as a political foundation. This is where I stand, and am writing my speech keeping in mind the fact that only "if" a true democracy existed it be for everyone. Just an opinion...
